J4E_Setup.exe is a self-extracting zip file. Right click on the link to the right and select "Open" - then click "Run". Once the program is downloaded - the setup will be run.

You will be prompted for an install location - the default is 'C:\J4E\'. Click the "Unzip" button to install all the files to the location you specify.

The installer works on both Windows XP and Vista.

Give the program a try! If you don't like it - simply go to the "Tools > Uninstall/Remove" menu and it's removed. No mess.

American English is the only spell check dictionary provided in the setup. Additional spell check dictionaries are provided to the right.

After you download the zipped dictionary file, extract it's contents into the same directory as the J4E executable. Then go to the "Tools > Spelling > Spelling Options" menu. Select the appropriate dictionary/dictonaries.
